Anyone who seeks to take the lead in Islamic affairs or any other religious affairs who is not a Moslem is perhaps at risk of ‘misconduct on the part of a man who establishes his own norms and expects obedience from others around them by usurping God’s authority’. Well, I don’t actually expect anything from anyone and I love God by any name so here goes:

Surgery by the sword:

“Many Western Scholars have pointed … verses in the Qur’an … world of Islam … perpetual struggle against the non-Muslims … the defiance of God’s authority by one who is His slave exposes that slave … in the perspective of Islamic law, is indeed to be treated as a sort of cancerous growth on that organism of humanity, which has been created “Kanafsin Wahidatin” that is, like one, single, indivisible self … remove the cancerous malformation even if it be by surgical means … to save the rest of Humanity…”

Allah Buksh K. Brohi

Staring us in the face is the doctrine of one death to benefit the many. And then another death and another and another. All to benefit the many. Then one day the majority of the remaining many may have to die for that same doctrine. Surprise!

The notion that God is present in every heart individually is possibly at odds with Islam for which this is possibly so but as a potential that needs the Q’ran to awaken it so that the Moslem may wear the image of God, but perhaps will never be the image of God. (In the same way that the old European striving to become close to God was shocked that the Indian wished actually to be God.) The old Mao-inspired government cultural departments battling with their economy-targeting bureaux to lower appreciations of individuality and personal inventiveness would warm to Islam where life has most meaning when people seem all the same. It is curious that China and the Arab nations led the world in science and learning for a long time before being left desparately behind, almost as if by intent.

Arabs apparently love to group around banners that display their monotheology. Reality is an illusion. So say Buddhists, enlightened men and Moslems. But they hate the Trinity, demanding that ‘God does not beget!” My personal trinity is that God is everything, except a lie, that God has the strong beginnings of a personal relationship with each of us that we may expand by our behaviours, and that Godhead-Godheart illuminates our minds from within us by very varying degrees and is the original source of all our units of thought that we merely reshuffle and remarshall as fresh trains of thought. After a long experience that I will call simply ‘1984’ I found I ‘knew’ many things that were not acquired knowledge. (The English vocabulary is the devil to use about spiritual matters.) Other things I could deduce with the aid of these absolutes, so they may not be so absolutely correct but close enough for conviction, and that is how my triune understanding of God came about. (God preserve us from religious dogma.) It is only since I saw Theresa’s Jesus in a new light –akin to that godhead that lives in all of us, everywhere, present tense – that I suddenly realized that my view is similar to the Trinity but stripped of its hyperbole, literary personality cult and majesty. (Not that God isn’t majestic but the prelates keep stressing this as if His ‘majeste’ might settle on them reflectively like pixie dust.) For sure GOD IS PERSONAL AND YET ALMIGHTY if behind a veil, so to speak. And Jesus was real.

After 9/11 the open-ended ill-defined ‘War on Terror’ put US into a ‘No Exit Strategy’. The web article

interestingly opines that the al-Qaeda cause is rather like the primitive cargo cults, but in reverse. Delusionally they might believe that the more non-Islamic symbols they knock down to the ground the greater the chance of strange foreign craft not coming their way at all. I guess that money has a little more to do with it than that as well as military career paths – terrorism has become a conglomeration of Foreign Legions for hire or reward. Anyway, from the al-Qaeda/ISISIL etc. points of view they have even changed the worlds of our greatest powers and will continue to mull their prospects.

Ted Turner inherited an empire at an early age. To control it, but lacking experience of that world, he provoked unifying management paranoia over non-existent attacks by outside enemies. In the book ‘Civilization and Its Enemies’ Lee Harris posits the opposite, that the US authorities had forgotten how an enemy could act and failed to watch out with any expectation of attack. The initial intellectual response was that ‘An act of violence on the magnitude of 9/11 can only have been intended to further some kind of political objective’. My own view at the time was that it needed the resources of a State to succeed as well but that there could not be a political motivating force from outside that stood the remotest chance of taking over America, by its geography let alone knowing its armaments and financial powers, unless they were invited. I still think that. But the inclination, stirred up by the US, that it might be Saddam’s Iraq to blame faded almost immediately and there is no other outside power that could come reasonably to mind. America’s pitch and wager, that Washington could be the new Rome with a democratic polity at home yet a Presidential Emperor with a free hand over the rest of the world, has not yet played-out anything like conclusively causing some players to advocate a nuclear war to decide who’s going to be god-bod, the king of the heap.

We are beyond nation-state battle positions. Ongoing is a ‘conflict of civilizations’ that flaunts cultural and religious suppositions. Make no mistake about it, one’s own culture is the last thing that any person can throw off completely and yet neither the US Allies nor the Moslems are absolutely clear on what values they are meant to be preserving or destroying. It’s a mess or it’s deliberate Chaos.

Islamism and terrorism/military strategy and tactics:

“In war our main objective is the opponent’s heart or soul, our main weapon of offence against this objective is the strength of our own souls, and to launch such an attack, we have to keep terror away from our own hearts…

“Terror struck into the hearts of the enemies is not only a means, it is the end itself. Once a condition of terror into the opponent’s heart is obtained, hardly anything is left to be achieved. It is the point where the means and the end meet and merge.

“Terror is not a means of imposing decision on the enemy; it is the decision we wish to impose on him.”

‘The Quranic Concept of War’ by General S.K. Malik (available online) flies in the face of orderly preparations for combat as undertaken by Western armies. The aim here is not to hold territory by forcing surrender or withdrawal and capture people buildings and equipment but to inflict terror for its own sake. Why? Religious doctrine and counter-religious assault. Terror of the heart, inflicted on you or witnessed by you, will dispel faith in your just and loving god which is not the same just and loving God as the one called Allah who dictated the Q’ran to cover every aspect of the believer’s life, all day, every day. So encompassing is Islamic observance and its social codes and laws that believers often become hypocritical in apects of their life in order to let their inner selves breathe a little. Some though believe entirely and unquestioningly while others feign belief convincingly as if their good life (or their good wife) depends on particular Islamic displays.

Of course the ‘Quranic Concept of War’ is one of many interpretations that could be drawn from the Q’ran and I would not wish to think it a correct one. In fact it may not even class as an interpretation, more like a pointed assemblage of amputated parts. Nevertheless the notion that people are one animal with one head is very attractive to fascistic individuals who need to free themselves at the expense of the group and so determine to make of their own mind-self that big head which beams down. It might be a surprisingly small technical step or two to keep the head alive (‘Til We Had Faces’, C.S.Lewis) and sever that body altogether letting all go to hell.

Perhaps the religious connection to terror (which would not have seemed strange during the hideous and unhinged Religious Wars in France) is overplayed by ‘folk memories’ or our imaginations? Or the General’s words in this book are part of some assymetrical/unconventional warfare strategy in realtime?

I have heard it said that Mohammed p.b.u.h. took pride in victory through terror. Can this be true? Surely not! To strike terror into the hearts of unbelievers – which can be essayed with TV and computer visuals in the infidels distant home or hostel – is more than shunning strangers or befriending their enemy to spite them. The intention is to dislocate the body’s resident, his godheart, and replace that with a Moslem spirit or else terminate the unbeliever’s life, the crime of murder that all anthropologists have observed is the most universally reviled crime of all. When will they learn that there is a way to KNOW GOD, to know personally and not just believe in book knowledge, to live individually under God’s protection and not sheltering under a fearful organization, DO NOT STRIVE to be the beast and you may become as One.

The US is the gearbox at the centre of a global machine that has planned (and this is the Age of the Poisoned Plan) to allow jihadism to flourish. The Washington gears seem to receive inputs from individual columns, the drivers of which feel terribly endangered when they do not feel themselves to be master of their universe. Like weaklings their confidence is bolstered only when the proof of their incompetence gets smothered. Don’t speak to me of some elite surviving in underground bunkers: they will be like gasping fish when once out of familiar waters.

The world is upside down. It takes strength to acquiesce (although giving way can become a bad habit) but it was weakness that caused Joseph “a million deaths is a statistic” Stalin to destroy hundreds of thousands of imagined rivals. Not a ‘strong man’ but a WEAK one who could not bear the stress and cared not who suffered to restore his broken sleep. When Clinton said about Gaddafi “We came, we saw, he died” she giggled. According to Mother Theresa, the dying poor and the be-fated rich need love equally strongly and in his final suffering Gaddafi might well have represented the living Jesus to her.

The US armed forces have followed loyally the secularist Cato tonic – better to have fought than not – and the tacit line of view – ubi solitudinem faciunt pacem appellant – when they make a wasteland they call it peace. Somehow the transcendent virtues have been trodden down, likewise the symbols for loving stability that suggest prosperity for all. Propaganda flows through the veins of Anglo-America and it’s NATO allies instead. And it is benefitting the jihadist/professional terrorist’s cause with its MiaSMa. By the end of the Twentieth Century and with the West’s material/martial/hidden-mafia values peaking the USA stood prone for strikes designed to shake its faith in itself to the core.

Those who disbelieve and hinder from the path of God, their deeds will the Lord render astray

Sura Mohammad, Verse I

Therefore, when you smite the unbelievers smite their necks; at length, when you have thoroughly subdued them build your barrier against them; thereafter (is the time to give and take) either generosity or ransom, raise-on until war lays down its burden.”

Sura Mohammad, Verse 4

There are 162 Sura like these.

ISIS is enticing radicalized men and women from around the globe to leave their homes and fight for Islamic terror and with such ease of approach that perhaps some secret services may not be ruling against it yet. Strangely, many countries have radicals inside Syria fighting for ISIS, for example Chechens (notorious for a combination of military skills and violent attitudes), Libyans, Moroccans, Tunisians, ,Saudi Arabians and Americans.

ISIS depends on Chechens the most, if ISIS wants to take over any area they send the Chechens in … The most European fighters were from France, there were some from the UK … The Irish fighters are perfect snipers; they use them sometimes with the Chechens … They are part of the Al Khalifa army and fought at Kobane.

US State Department sources say it is nearly 70 Irish who have left to fight in Syria and Iraq. The Irish jihadists were seen hanging out with their British counterparts (excepting so-called Jihadi John, a singularly international target who is kept constantly on the move).

The foreign fighters are sold that the Islamic State caliphate has been established already and do not feel like they are interventionists in a foreign land. The Europeans jihadists/founder members of the new caliph are possibly the most bloody ideologues of all. French IS fighters slaughtered 3,000 in one country village alone.

They have members inside Europe, inside America, inside Britain, they’re just awaiting a decision from al-Baghdadi.

It was mid-February that the ISIS video corp released “We are South of Rome” subtitled “the nation signed with the blood of the cross” although the new government of Italy is no position to respond meaningfully at present.

Renzi, “Our proposal is to wait for the U.N.Security Council. The strength of the U.N. is decidedly superior to that of the radical militias.”

Estimated figures for illegal migrants entering Italy by sea leapt by over 50% last year, mostly from chaos-strewn Libya a once rich country which now has its own drowning boat-people. Libya is just 109 miles from the island of Lampedusa and 300 miles from Sicily. Concealed smugglers, armed and dangerous and quite capable of taking-on small naval vessels, take the trip.

Rome’s Office of Migration believes there could be as many as 500,000 people in camps who are feeling under pressure to quit Libya. For historic reasons Italy “would be a wonderful target for the Islamic State” says Matia Toaldo of the European Council on Foreign Relations. The terror magazine ‘Dabiq’ has urged “Every Muslim should get out of his house, find a crusader and kill him … the Islamic State will remain until its banner flies over Rome”

N.B. I seem to be experiencing virtual-spy trouble with the usual page that I recommend for checking the original Nostradamus Essays and Quatrains and so I have switched to using Alexey Penzensky’s long-established Russian-French-English website at

which is the fastest to navigate. The proto-French on this page is from there, the English translations are my own.

Nostradamus Quatrains that might be applicable to ISIS entering the North Mediterranean lands, especially Italy, include the following:

I 8

Combien de fois prinse Cite solaire,
Seras, changeant les loi barbares & vaines
Ton mal s’approche, plus seras tributaire,
Le grand Hadrie recouurira tes vaines.

OF ‘Cite solaire’ is customarily and romantically translated City of the Sun, thus assumed to indicate Rome, but OF ‘soleire’ means the South Wind and OF ‘souloir’ meant of the habits or customs belonging to the past.

OF ‘tributaire’ can mean a payer of tribute/taxes to a superior organization. Or simply locked-in somehow.  In Rome, however, ‘tributaire’ had a special meaning like ‘Minister of Financial Affairs’.

Rome had three known climatalogical periods. In ancient Rome there were virtually no North winds in Winter but it had warm North-West winds which no longer occur. It did get damaging sea breezes from the South that badly affected books.

How often will your land be taken, O City of the South Wind,
That will be changing laws that are barbaric and vain.
Bad news approaches, you will be more dependent,
Great Hadrie will rebuild OR rescue your veins/your penitence/your languor/your vain illusions lacking moral force.

I 9

De l’Orient viendra le coeur Punique,
Facher Hadrie & les hoirs Romulides,
Accompagne de la classe Libique
Trembler Mellites, & proches Isles vuides.

From the Orient will come the Punic heart,
OR From the East will come the African heart,
To anger Hadrie and the heirs of Romulus,
Accompanied by the Libyan group
Mellitus to tremble and the Isles nearby empty.

Up to now this was thought to refer to ancient history, the Punic heart being Hannibal of Carthage, but it could possibly mean ‘the African heart’ instead and Mellitus, an island, might just be Malta. Today mellitus is honey and mellites a pharma honey, both linked to diabetes. There is also a secondary mineral of similar name, making Line 4 read almost like Medieval alchemy.

I 18

Par la discorde negligence Gauloise,
Sera passage а Mahommet ouuert
De sang trempe la terre & mer Senoyse
Le port Phocen de voiles & nefs couuert.

This quatrain is investigated in the Article FUTURE ARAB ATTACKS ON FRENCH SOIL together with the Nostradamus Quatrains III 99, II 4 and I 72

II 30

Vn qui les dieux d’Annibal infernaux
Fera renaistre effrayeur des humains
Oncq plus d’horreur, ne plus pire iournaux
Qu’aduint viendra par Babel aux Romains.

One who the infernal gods of Hannibal
Terrorizer of mankind will make reborn
Never more horror, nor worst days
Comes again to the Roman people through Babylon (Babylonian extremes).

OF ‘par’, by or through, can also mean ‘extremely’ and I have incorporated this secondary meaning (in parentheses) as it does no harm to the overall sense.

STOP PRESS: The Yemen’s Houthis are reported by Reuters to have entered a military base at the strategic Bab el Mandeb Strait.

(Bab el) Mandeb is a marine gateway to the world South of Saudi Arabia but at only 1/5th of the oil volume that passes through the Straits of Hommuz, although more than the Suez Canal.

In the Eighteenth Century a small but expansive Bedouin tribe ‘Ibn Saud’ collaborated with a radical cleric Abd al Wahhab who wanted a world more resembling the times of the Prophet, p.b.u.h. A Saudi state they had designed together was quashed by the Ottoman power. One hundred years later they fared better under the British. Today the oil-rich Saud Kingdom is conjoined with the US, especially with the CIA, and is savaging the Houthis for them both in neighbouring Yemen.*

Royal rule under Wahhabi theology is not perhaps as popular as it could be and an Islamic State inrush to Saudi is not infeasible on paper but only a distant possibility without either occulted or in-plain-sight US support. Now that would make a Caliphate to consider with the keenest caution!

III 10

De sang & faim plus grand calamité,
Sept fois s’appreste à la marine plage :
Monech de faim, lieu pris captiuité,
Le grand mené croc enferree cage.

OF ‘Monech’ was Monaco. OF ‘lieu’ is either ‘place’ or the fish group ‘whiting’. OF ‘pris’ could be a verb, to take, or the price of something. OF ‘croc’ meant a crook or bent iron hook. However it was also an exclamation thought appropriate for devils. OF ‘enferree’ is embroiled including in chains. Colloquially it could have meant sexually penetrated. It may have made with ‘croc’ a shocked and uncharacteristically shocking phrase. Or it could have meant OF ‘crocodile’. The sea crocodile is a ferocious beast. Nostredame was interested in stranded sea monsters.

The greatest calamity of blood and hunger
Seven times comes about the marine shore:
Monaco in hunger, with fish the price of captivity,
OR Monaco in hunger, the place taken captive,
The great ‘croc’ led embroiled in an iron cage.
OR A personage of commanding position will be captured and led embroiled into a cage.

III 64

Le chef de Perse remplira grands Olchades
Classe trireme contre gent Mahometique,
De Parthe & Mede, & pilliers les Cyclades,
Repos long temps au grand port Ionique.

See the alphabetical entry for IONIQUE in the Article SOME NAMES AND NOUNS IN NOSTRADAMUS

It seems the Olcades were a ‘B.C.’ hill-people of mixed Iberian tribes with Gallic leadership whose ranging habitats place this in Spain (Cuenca, South Guadalajara, West Valencia) and possibly quite close to the Mediterranean coast. The exact placename ‘grand Olchades’ is harder to find. We should remember that Islamic incursions into Europe did occur both before and after Michel’s death although they were not lastingly successful.

IV 23

La legion dans la marine classe
Calcine, Magne, souphre & poix bruslera,
Le long repos de l’asseuree place,
Port Selin, Herc le feu les consumera.

The Roman legion/a large miltary troop in the sailing squadron
Calcine (lime?), Magne (lodestone?) and sulphur pitch will burn,
The long rest in an assured place,
Port Selin, Monaco will be destroyed by fire.

The Grimaldi family’s Rock of Monaco fortress once featured ornamention on the theme of Hercules and Monaco’s port then became known as Port Hercules. The true identity of Port Selin/Selyn remains inconclusive, really, but something crescive about the name always brings Istanbul to the front of my mind.

Line 2 appears to be a recipe, perhaps for a fiery rain.

The general subject of ‘Selin’ is approached in the Article SOME NAMES AND NOUNS IN NOSTRADAMUS  as  are ‘Port Selyn’ and ‘Pselin’ – a section that mentions Alchemy.

Naples, Palerme, & toute la Cecile,
Par main babare sera inhabitée,
Corsicque, Salerne & de Sardeigne l’Isle,
Faim, peste guerre, fin de maux intemptée.

Naples, Palermo, and all of Sicily,
By the barbarian hand will become uninhabitated,
Corsica, Salerno and the island of Sardinia,
Hunger, war sicknesses, the evils end testingly.

OF ‘intemptée’ can mean ‘seek’ or ‘intensify’ but each seems to be a misfit. As a combination of Latin ‘in’ and ‘temperate’ (the roots of ‘intemptée’) it would mean in on or under test.

X 65

O vaste Rome ta ruyne s’approche,
Non de tes murs, de ton sang & substance :
L’aspre par lettres fera si horrible coche,
Fer poinctu mis à tous iusques au manche.

This quatrain is discussed in the Article DEATH CHANGE AND PAPAL ROME

This list may not turn out to be 100% apposite nor is it by any means exhaustive but these quatrains could spell severe upset for the inhabitants of the Romance countries along the Mediterranean’s North Coast and the IS-ISISIL have been signalling their readiness to do that.

Islam is not wholely the Q’ran, there are the Hadiths to read and the Sunnah to consider (the life and times of the great Prophet Mohammed p.b.u.h.) To confuse us a little his character seems different in Mecca to in Medina. His ‘career-path’ looks like ‘a bustling businessman – married a rich widow – became a Great Prophet – died a warlord’. At this point I wish to say that I am not an ageing white man with a grievance. I have no grievance! God bless the Prophets!

From time to time this 628 sealed covenant (transliterator unknown) is republished in the West:

(St. Catherine’s Monastery)

This is a message from Muhammad ibn Abdullah, as a covenant to those who adopt Christianity, near and far, we are with them.

Verily I, the servants, the helpers, and my followers defend them, because Christians are my citizens; and by Allah! I hold out against anything that displeases them.

No compulsion is to be on them. Neither are their judges to be removed from their jobs nor their monks from their monasteries. No one is to destroy a house of their religion, to damage it, or to carry anything from it to the Muslims’ houses.

Should anyone take any of these, he would spoil God’s covenant and disobey His Prophet. Verily, they are my allies and have my secure charter against all that they hate.

No one is to force them to travel or to oblige them to fight. The Muslims are to fight for them. If a female Christian is married to a Muslim, it is not to take place without her approval. She is not to be prevented from visiting her church to pray. Their churches are to be respected. They are neither to be prevented from repairing them nor the sacredness of their covenants.

No one of the nation is to disobey the covenant till the Last Day.

Apparently renewed compulsorily (see the last line) by Sultan Selim the Caliph of Islam as a responsibility applicable to all who follow the Prophet, this seems to be Islamic Law at its clearest. A patent Treaty of Peace and Human Rights now curated by the Topkapi Palace Museum of holy relics and manuscripts in Istanbul.

In those areas around the Levant which ISIS now controls most Christian Churches and their congregations have been destroyed/displaced. It has been said that some strategic or tactical decisions of Arab terrorists have been so non-Islamic that they could not have been ordered by Moslems in the first place. For as long as that economic impossibility known as NATO is allowed to bomb and torture Moslems, under what appear to be alien orders, Euro-Americans generally are in no position to claim the high moral ground. But we can ask (yet again) how three religions could be fighting each other and yet all three claim descent from Abraham who surely had Only One God?

I guess the possessions pendulum is at its greatest swing nowadays and ‘machine men’ are mating with ‘material girls’ but this state of affairs cannot last, the pendulum will return as long as fascism does not grab a hold. Even then it can only delay change, not prevent it, as totalitarianism inevitably collapses under its own follies. Inside Islam is the Sufi mysticism that seeks true connection with God, with Allah. At this level they are truly the same but the name. In fact it’s said that Sufism predates every religion but has flowered within Islam. Others feel the need to claim it as Islam’s own, as the notion of perfection in worship given to Mohammed by Gabriel. The Wahhabists and Salafists seem perhaps against complementing the external, shariah, with ihsan, doing beautiful things from within, whilst many say that this would be the example of a complete Moslem and unique to Islam. For all its non-apparent faults Islam once provided the world with the Malamatiyya or ‘malâmatîs’, the Blameworthy Ones – one of the deepest concepts of all. God’s standing army of invisible reservists deceptively dismissable down here behind enemy lines on Earth and so disguised that not even Crypto-Jesuits nor Crypto-Jews (who are skilled at this sort of thing for high worldly reward) could recognize such a modest inner force.

(See the Article ADDENDUM AU SUJET DE L’HOMME NICE: the Malamatiyya)

*excerpt from the Article WATCH OUT WORLD part 7

“Yemen has the second most heavily armed civilian population on Earth, apparently. The Yemeni government may have offered several Houthis ministerial positions in placation of their uprising but the rebels seem to have chosen to let fighting rather than soft-furnishings determine the outcome of their struggle. They are mostly Zaydi’s, one quarter of the population with a form of Shia Islam that is close to Sunn’ism. Zaydis and Sunni’s have intermingled in the Yemeni nation for many centuries.

Armed Houthis who had been attacking villages in and around Sana’a in Yemen and demanding reinstatement of the old fuel subsidy and an implementation of the Movenpick Hotel National Dialogue Conference agreements earlier in the year have now won out. They seized the government headquarters on Sunday and enforced a pre-brokered deal including the resignation of the former leader.

The Yemen is a cohesive society, like Syria, which has been up to now both a satellite in the eyes of Saudi Arabia and a loyal ally in the eyes of America.

Historians like singular reasons for historic events but always there are multiple reasons for everything. Yemeni are experiencing an 80% increase in fuel prices; realization of the level of interference by ‘NWO’ supportive countries, especially the Western-influenced Saudi government and the pervasive US; anti-ISIS feelings; anger at the protracted voicelessness of millions of Yemenis; rejection of years of miserable subjugation and hard times. It seems like the Yemenis are refusing to be fooled anymore. However, fighting between Houthis and the military has not yet ceased in the North of ancient and pivotal Yemen.”
