As always it is important to realise that in the Centuries the End Time quatrains are the most important of all. Of the other quatrains many are revealing on all manner of subjects but several are ‘fillers’ with no real purpose or simple paraphrases of pre-existing external sources. (Especially the ensnaring non-quatrain “Legis cautio contra ineptos criticos” originally by Pietro Baldi del Riccio, d.1507, under the name Crinitus, hirsute, but modified in intent by Michel de Nostredame aka Nostradamus). Of the supposed retrospective pieces – not necessarily written in the past tense, by the way – we may see that many are also forward-leaning in a very real sense.

I 83

La gent estrange diuisera butins
Saturne & Mars son regard furieux,
Horrible strage aux Toscans & Latins,
Grecs qui seront а frapper curieux.

The cruel outsiders/the hostile nation will divide the spoils
Saturn and Mars sound and look mad with fury,
Horrifying massacre comes to the Tuscans and Latins,
Greeks who will be preoccupied by the strikes.

For a rather different interpretation, Translation 1, please see the Article POVERA ITALIA! MAGGIO 2012

II 16

Naples, Palerme, Sicile, Syracuses,
Nouueaux tyrans, fulgures, feux celestes
Forces de Londres, Gands, Bruxelles & Suses,
Grand hecatombe, trumphe, faire festes.

Naples, Palermo, Sicily, Syracuse,
New tyrants, lightning, fires in the sky
Military powers from London, Ghent, Brussels & Suses,
Great martyring, trumpeting of victory, fêting.

Line 3, about OF ‘Suses’, some say this is Susa in Persia/Shush in Iran but the quatrain is otherwise European (Syracuse is a city in Sicily). I would think ‘Suses’ is ‘Suisse’, Switzerland, and a clue is that the printed words OF ‘sus’ and OF ‘suis’ seem interchangeable in the Sixteenth Century.

II 86

Naufrage à classe pres d’onde Hadriatique,
La terre esmeuë sus lair en terre mis :
Egypte tremble augment Mahommetique,
Heraut se rendre à crier est commis.

The wreckage of a fleet near Adriatic waters,
The earth stirred-up above floor-level settles to the ground:
Egypt’s quaking increases their Mohammedanism,
The herald proclaims hisself to be lord.

Note1: if by chance OF “se rendre’ is a mistaken OF ‘susrendre’, surrender, then this Herald relinquishes all.

Note 2: there is a River Herault which reaches the Mediterranean Sea at Agde. See the quatrain VIII 26 on this webpage.

III 23

Si, France, passe outre mer Lygustique,
Tu te verra en isles & mers enclos,
Mahommet contraire plus mer Hadriatique
Cheuaux & d’asnes tu rongeras les os.

If, France, thou pass beyond the Ligurian sea,
Thou will see thyself contained by islands and seas,
Mahommet against thee and more so in the Adriatic
Thy men will gnaw the bones of horses and asses.

III 71

Ceux dans les Isles de long temps assiegez,
Prendront vigueur force contre ennemis,
Ceux par dehors morts de faim profliegez
En plus grand faim que jamais seront mis.

Besieged a long time those of the Isles,
Take to strong force against their enemies,

Those around rapidly starve to death
Greater want will never be.

A “super-weapon” destroys the surrounding troupe?

III 84

La grand cité sera bien desolee,
Des habitans vn seul ny demourra,
Mur, sexe, temple, & vierge violee,
Par fer, feu, peste, canon, peuple mourra

The great city will be well desolated,
Of the inhabitants not one shall get away,
Cloister, Sexe, sacred sanctuary, & virginal status violated,
By sword, fire, disease, cannon/canon, people will die.

The slightly obcure use of Sexe/Sexte/SEXT in Michel’s compositions is is best explained by quoting from the Article NOSTRADAMUS GEOGRAPHY

What of Michel de Nostredame’s homeland, the large County of Provence? The ‘SEXT’ group of quatrains are relevant here. Some of the many quatrains featuring Old Roman history – befitting the age – probably came from Nostredame’s youthful experiences among the Roman artifacts and memorials of Provence. The Greeks had visited, the Phonecians had traded, the Saracens looted  but the Romans settled extensively in Provence with its sunny plains, startling lavender fields, vineyards, aromatic pine forests and olive groves crowned by distant heights under blue skies. It is bordered by the River Rhone, the Mediterranean and the Alps. The Camargue is a zoologically fascinating wilderness. The Northern edge of the region is marked by the tree-line as the olives surrender to a less blessed climate. Its most famous town was, and is, gentle Aix-en-Provence (Aagen) under the massive Mont St. Victoire. The Aix inhabitants, Aixois, were occasionally called Aquisextains.

It could even mean some Sextus monument defaced along with a cloister and main religious building. Otherwise it might mean both genders, monks and nuns, violated.

The great city is probably Rome.

III 88

De Barcelone par mer si grande armee
Toute Marseille de frayeur tremblera,
Isles saisies, de mer ayde fermee,
Ton traditeur en terre nagera.

From Barcelona by sea so great an army
All Marseilles will shake with fear,

Seizings of islands, help from the sea shut-off,
The sound of treachery floats above the earth.
OR The high-voiced traitor drowns on solid land.

“Islanding” is an old form of minor colonial capture still operative today. The attack from the sea takes place on the shore of the mainland and the subsequent retreat captures some off-lying islands (the true targets) which a wearied defender will often decide to let go without further conflict.

IV 68

En l’an bien proche eslongné de Venus,
Les deux plus grands de l’Asie & d’Affrique :
Du Rin & Hyster, qu’on dira sont venus,
Cris, pleurs à Malte & costé à Lygustique.

In the year placed very far from Venus,
The two greatest of Asia & Africa:
Of the Rhine and Hister, of whom people will say they have arrived,
Cries, tears at Malta, and along the coast of Liguria.

V 47

Le grand Arabe marchera bien auant,
Trahy sera par les Bisantinois,
L’antique Rodes luy viendra au deuant,
Et plus grand mal par austre Pannonois.

Well before the great Arab march,
There will be betrayal by the Bizantians,
The ancient Rhodes it will come to the front,
And much greater evil by the Pannonians.

(Pannonia is modern Hungary, more or less)

V 73

Persecutee de Dieu sera l’Eglise,
Et les saints temples seront expoliez :
L’enfant la mere mettra nud en chemise,
Seront Arabes aux Polons raliez.

The Church will be the persecuted (possibly, meaning to imply perscrutated*) of God,
The Church will be persecuted by (another) God, (such as Allah)
The temples held sacred will be forcibly deprived of their glories:
Mother and child alike will don covers,
There will be Arabs rallied at Poland/hair piled-up on heads in Poland.

* “Everlasting God, who will eventually search for our self-purificatory thoroughness, the perscrutator of human braveries”

taken from the EPISTLE TO THE KING

Poles fought the whole of the Seventeenth Century with the Ottoman Empire and the Tatars. They crushed the Ottomans at Vienna in 1683, and certainly saved Western Europe, but 100 years later Poland was partitioned between Austria, Prussia and Russia. Ironically, this partitioning was objected to by the Ottoman Empire who maintained a vacant chair for the Polish ambassador at meetings of other ambassadors to their country.

As it happens, Line 3 of Nostradamus Quatrain V 73 contains the jumbled letters of ‘Lechistan’, the old Turkish name for Poland.

Although the two countries were in conflict from time to time there was a sense of mutual respect and there is in Turkey a Polish emigre village dating back to 1830. And even though Poland has been enthralled by Catholicism there was still space for other religions to co-exist peaceably. In fact tens of thousands of Moslem Tatars live in North-East Poland today, it seems. Poland in the Twenty First Century is possibly one of the European Christian countries most inclined to ally with the Arab Moslems, if any do, or so it has been mooted. (But the Polish government’s continued refusal of further ME migrants, as at April 2017, seems to defeat this notion.)

V 74

De sang Troy en naistra cœur Germanique,
Qui deuiendra en si haute puissance,
Hors chassera gent estrange Arabique,
Tournant l’Eglise en pristine preeminence.

Of Trojan blood born in a Germanic heart,
Who will become so lofty a power,
Who will chase out foreign Arabian peoples,
Returning the Church to its previous high position.

Line 1, if ‘sang Troy en’ is a mistaken ‘sang Troyen’ then this is the royal bloodline of France which, after the manner of the day, sought classical roots by claiming royal descent from a son of King Priam of Troy named Francus.

One of the blood of Troyen, physically or figuratively, will drive the Moslems out and restore or rebuild the Church.

V 78

Les deux vnis ne tiendront longuement,
Et dans treze ans au barbare s’attrappe:
Aux deux costez feront tel perdement,
Qu’vn benira la barque & sa cappe.

The two united will not hold together for long,
And in thirteen years get snared to the barbarian:
Both sides will suffer such losses,
That one will bless the ship (of the Church) and its mantle (worn by its figurehead).

Line 2, if OF ‘s’attrappe’ were a mistaken OF ‘satrape’ this would suggest either a Persian provincial governor or any powerful despot. The line might then read, “And in thirteen years to the barbarian the satrapy”.

Line 4, OF ‘cappe’ meant an outer garment (the English ‘cope’ is a long ecclesiastical outer vestment) or as OF ‘cap’ is either the head or else that part of the vessel which is directed into the wind.

V 80

Logmion grande Bisance approchera,
Chassée sera la barbarique ligue,
Des deux loix l’vne l’aethinique laschera,
Barbare & franche en perpetuelle brigue.

The OF proper noun ‘l’Atigni’ could sound a little like part of “l’aethinique” I suppose. “La ville d’Atigni” is specified in the “les Grandes Chroniques”, a history of Charlemagne and the ways of life of the ancient kings of France:

“The Christmas festival celebrated in the city of Atigni, and celebrated Pasques in another, which had not Aristalle”.

Other OF proper nouns included ‘Aethin’ and ‘Hedin’ and ‘Athan’. None of these much advance our understanding here except that they may suggest some confusion coming to the ears of the printer during the haste of hot-print dictation.
OF ‘ethnique’ meant a member of a philosophical school of antiquity (probably the cynics) and OF ‘hérétique/eretique’ was simply a heathen. Unfortunately neither ‘Athenique’ nor ‘heathenique’ have ever existed in Old French and so we are come back to OF ‘aethinique’!

The great Ogmion will approach Byzance,
The barbaric league will be pursued,
Of the two laws the “aethinique’” will become allowed to lapse,
The Barbarians and the French will stay in a perpetual state of schemes and edgy intrigues.

V 91

Au grand marché qu’on dit des mensongers,
Du bout Torrent & camp Athenien:
Seront surprins par les cheuaux legers,
Par Albanois Mars, Leo, Sat. vn versien.

At the great market/the merchant city that people call ‘The Illusory/The Liars’,
At the limit of Torrent Town and the army camp/large open space occupied by those of Athens:
They will be surprised by the ‘light horses’,
By those of Albania a measure is sown under Mars, Leo, Saturn.

Line 1, OF ‘mensongers’ refer to liars and illusory behaviours.

Line 2 . Torrent is a city within Valencia province, Spain in Western Europe. The reference to Athens (the major city of Greece in the East) means little to me unless this be a travellers encampment.

Line 3, OF ‘legers’ means lightweight. Generally, ‘light horse’ is a military term meaning lightly armed cavalry on lightly encumbered horse. The horses themselves are strong and fast.

Line 4, Albania is now a Moslem country in Eastern Europe.

Is Line 4 a time-marker – the Albanian sowing season of the year when the Signs/planets relate together astrologically? OF ‘versien’ could be taken from OF ‘vert’ indicating Spring or from an astrological use of OF ‘vers’ suggesting an aspect/phase plotted on a chart by degrees of separation.

At the great market/the merchant city that people call ‘The Illusory/The Liars’,
At the limit of Torrent and the army camp/large open space occupied by those of Athens:
They will be surprised by the ‘lite horses’,
By those of Albania a measure is sown under Mars, Leo, Saturn.

VI 4

Le Celtique fleuue changera de riuage,
Plus ne tiendra la cité d’Aripine :
Tout trasmué ormis le vieil langage,
Saturne, Leo, Mars, Cancer en rapine.

The Celtic river will reshape its shore,
No more will it hold the city of Aripine:
All transformed except the old ways of speaking,
Saturn, Leo, Mars, Cancer in rapine.

Line 2, the name ‘Aripine’ may represent a place or a person such as Agrippina the Elder. She was daughter-in-law, sister-in-law and stepdaughter of Emperor Tiberius and mother of Emperor Caligula. She was related also to several of the early Roman Emperors such as Nero and Claudius.

The river subject here is probably a Roman noble bloodline. Such lines were reflected by the noble’s names. By procedures such as marriage to one who had children by a previous marriage and adult adoption of favourites these names could signal changes in the direction of these lines.

Whilst his family name was not Tiberius the Emperor was named at birth for his father Tiberius Claudius Nero. The name Tiberius seems to suggest the Italian River Tiber which flows through Rome. Due to silting, the mouth of the Tiber has advanced so far that Ostia Antica, the harbour city of ancient Rome, is now several kilometres inland.
Agrippina’s husband Germanicus was named for his late father who received the victory title Germanicus posthumously for his military role in Germania (the Roman name for the Celtic lands they sought to conquer).

Line 4, OF ‘en rapine’ may be an astrological expression understood at the time but OF ‘rapine’ translates literally as deliberate and violent misappropriation, brigandage, rapine abduction.

VI 21

Quand ceux de polle artique vnis ensemble,
En Orient grand effrayeur & crainte,
Esleu nouueau soustenu le grand temple,
Rodes, Bisance de sang barbare tainte.

When those of the arctic pole live in unity,
In the East great agitation and trepidation:
Newly elect supportive of the great temple,
Rhodes, Byzantium stained by barbarian blood.

The first three lines read like a globalist plan based around ‘Brave New World’. The last line indicates a war between Greece and Turkey that may have given rise to this new world, with the Moslems spilling their blood most profusely.

VI 24

Mars & le sceptre se trouuera conioint,
Dessous Cancer calamiteuse guerre :
Vn peu apres sera nouueau Riy oingt,
Qui par long temps pacifiera la terre

Mars and the scepter will be found conjoined,
Under Cancer calamitous war:
A short time after a new Riy will be anointed,
Who will pacify the earth for a long time

First Couplet: Mars conjoined Jupiter in Cancer in July 2002, we are told, and the US CIA SAD went in to Saddam Hussein’s Iraq in July 2002 to set up the (disastrous for almost everybody) Shock And Awe War.

Second Couplet: There has been no lofty ceremony to match this wonderful event. It may be figurative, symbolic or, in its practical details, widely off-centre to our more regal imaginings – see the Articles I 96 THIS IS HIM and AU SUJET DE L’HOMME NICE

‘Riy’ does not seem much like an acronym. It has a capital ‘R’ as befits a proper noun (or it may be a decipherable particle from a name like Ricky, Stevie Ray or Riyhad).

Naples, Palerme, & toute la Cecile,
Par main babare sera inhabitée,
Corsicque, Salerne & de Sardeigne l’Isle,
Faim, peste guerre, fin de maux intemptée.

Line 2, OF ‘inhabitée’ is another of the odd OF confusions between positives and negatives. The OF for inhabited is ‘habité-ée’ and the usual translation for OF ‘inhabité’ is uninhabited. (1426, Arch du Nord, Charles Villier, “Depuis, par les guerres des Englés, le dit païs a esté inhabité de gens” or ‘Because of the wars the said country was without habitation by people’.) Yet there was also a lesser use of OF ‘inhabité’, apparently, to mean exactly inhabited (as in English) although I have never come across it myself.

Line 4, OF ‘intemptée’ is also difficult. Temptation in English is ‘tentation’ in OF (and modern Fr. also) and is probably not applicable here. The particle ‘temp’ in ‘intemptée’ could suggest time, of course, and OF ‘entre-temps’ meant ‘meanwhile’ but that does not fit. Periodicity gives us the idea of ‘interval’ and, in the negative, lack of interval which may then be restated as lack of succession (which could fit to these islands being emptied out but left uninhabited/unclaimed).

However, OF ‘intentée’ means straining towards and has the sense of being against someone and undertaking to attack that target. (Somewhat like a dog kept on a short leash and wanting to get at another dog across the street). Otherwise to put to the test, strive against the odds or try to force something.

Line 4, OF ‘maux’ conjures up the many meanings of ‘mal’ which may be summarised as reprehensible and contumely evil or, with OF ‘fin’, fatal ailments.

Naples, Palermo, and all Sicily,
By the barbarian hand will be uninhabited,
Corsica, Salerno and the isle of Sardinia,
Hunger, disease, war, fatal ailments OR deaths from contumely evil.

There seems likely to be a link between this Nostradamus Quatrain VII 6 and the section
‘Quatrain II 4  A Future Massed Attack On Mediterranean Shores’ in the Article

Clarté fulgure à Lyon apparante
Luysant, print Malte, subit sera estrainte,
Sardon, Mauris traitera deceuante,
Geneue à Londres à Coq trahison fainte.

Flashing lightning manifests at Lyon
Shining, adsorbing Malta, it will be precipitously compressive/implosive,
Sardon, ‘Mauris’ will manipulate delusion/will lead the misleading,
Geneva to London to Paris (they are then) made to feign disloyalty.

Sardon is in France but the scope of the text might suggest the island of Sardinia instead. Mauris is difficult to trace but might be ‘St. Mauris’ which could then make this locale ‘St. Moritz’ in Switzerland.

The ancient city of Lyons appears often in the Centuries. There has been plenty of warlike activity in the Gulf of Lyon also.

Extraordinary (electrical?) activity in the sky, first seen over Lyons/the Gulf of Lyon, proves so disturbing, especially to Malta which seems lost in it, that major strategic deceptions are undertaken on what seems like a scripted or agreed international basis.

This congress of governments manipulating the popular perception of events seems topical or futuristic.

Au port de Agde trois fustes entreront
Portant l’infect non foy & pestilence
Passant le pont mil milles embleront,
Et le pont rompre à tierce resistance.

Line 1, OF ‘fuste’ had a martial meaning, a light and fast rowing and sailing boat, special to the Mediterranean, used for rapid warfare. An obsolete name is ‘foist’ from OF ‘fuste’ meaning a stick or a light boat derived from the Latin ‘fustis’, a cudgel.

Line 2, OF ‘foy/foi’ has a depth of meaning that is greater than mere belief. The religious military operative invokes his faith to guarantee the truth of what he professes and the sincerity of what he has vowed. His action is his adherence as he has committed himself to respect and obey his leader much like a vassal would to his feudal suzerain.

Line 3, OF ‘Passant’ was used conversationally to introduce an aside. Or it could suggest someone supreme. It could also mean a passenger or someone passing through or travelling from place to place by water. Literally, it means passing or changing.

Line 4, OF ‘tierce’ has a medical meaning, fever at crisis on the third day. It can also mean 3 p.m. In modern English we have “third time lucky”. OF ‘resistance’ is an opposing force, i.e. the reaction to the problem.

At the port of Agde three fast boats will enter
Carrying heretic commitment and pestilence
Passing the bridge a thousand thousand slipping away,
And the bridge shatters at the third resistance.

A battle at a bridge is nothing new: there have been many. Agde is a venerable and fortified small town (with a holiday time population of hundreds of thousands) by the sea in South-West France. Built by ancient sea wayfarers it was from the beginning and up until the Eighteenth Century a major maritime port. The Canal du Midi enters the Herault river just above Agde (which is in the Department of Herault, Languedoc-Roussillon region).

Is this an accident or an attack? These are war boats. Does attack and disease suggest biological weapons or invasion followed by alien cultural afflictions?

Apres victoire du Lyon au Lyon,
Sus la montagne de Ivra Secatombe,
Delues & brodes septiesme million,
Lyon, Vlme à Mausol mort & tombe.

Line 2. The Jura mountains are the Western Alps to the East of France. The word is derived from Jurassic. Secatombe remains a mystery to me unless it was an old name for a Swiss Canton. It seems odd that its rhyming pair is ‘tombe’ when it could have been that Nostradamus favourite, ‘hecatombe’, ritual slaughter.

Line 3, OF ‘septiesme’ is a ranking, number 7 or the seventh.

After the victory of the Lion over Lyon,
Upon the mountain of Jura Secatombe,
One seventh of a million get disappeared and shabbied/demasculated/degraded, Lyon, Ulm (and at) Mansol, dead and fallen.

Entre deux fleuues se verra enserré,
Tonneaux & caques vnis à passer outre,
Huict ponts rompus chef à tant enferré,
Enfans parfaicts sont igulez en coultre.

Line 4, OF ‘parfaict’ is perfect in some way, i.e. innocent, whole, at one in a spiritual union.

The ‘perfect number’ is defined by the sum of its parts e.g. 10 is the sum of its integers, 1+2+3+4.

OF ‘igulez’ cannot be found by me but the OF verb ‘éculer’ means to sever the lower part of a tree like cutting a path through a forest. OF ‘coultre/coutre’ was an iron tool, a sharp blade fixed to the front of a ploughshare and used to split the ground.

Between two rivers will be a ‘logjam’,
Barrels & casks ‘bottlenecking’ on their way out ,
Eight bridges ‘gone down’ the head one much pierced,
Innocent children/whole children are ‘mowed down’ and ‘ploughed under’.

Frimy les champs de Rodanes entrées
Où les croisez seront presque vnis,
Les deux brassierez en pisces rencontrées,
Et vn grand nombre par deluge punis.

Lightly agitating the fields of Rodanes as they go into
Where they will be almost united,
The two confront each other within their cramped joint tenure in Pisces,
And a large number of them are struck by a great calamity.

Line 3, OF ‘brassierez’ here equates to the astrological chart term ‘conjunct’ where two planets may seem to rush toward each other with open arms. In its space this is literally a ‘cramped tenure’.

Line 4, OF ‘punis’ means chastized, penalized, punished. OF ‘deluge’ can mean either torrential deluge or, metaphorically, an excess of something bad, a calamity, carnage, massacre.

LOIN hors du regne, mis en hazard voyage :
Grand ost duira, pour foy l’occupera.
Le Roy tiendra les siens captifs hostage.
A son retour tout pays pillera.

Far from the Kingdom, during a perilous voyage:
A great troupe will drive at him, for faith will grip it.
The King will hold his captives hostage.
On his return and without restraint the place will be plundered.

(It is commonly believed by researchers that proper nouns in capitals in the Nostradamus Centuries often suggest an anagram such as LOIN rearranging as LION.)

IX 42

De Barcelonne, de Gennes & Venise,
De la Secille peste Monet vnis,
Contre Barbare classe prendront la vise,
Barbar poulsé bien loing iusqu’à Thunis.

Line 4 OF ‘poulsé’ might be from OF ‘pousser’, to exercise forward pressure or OF ‘poser’, thoughtful reflecting. There is also the old OF ‘poussëiz’ meaning the action of pushing forward or else the shock felt by a blow from a weapon strike. Generally, repelling one’s assailant by using his own energetic force against him is an old fighting skill.

Gennes heroism is the subject of the Article VIIII 76 and II 30  and VI 81  HUMAN SACRIFICE YESTERDAY AND TOMORROW

However, Nostradamus researchers often interpret France’s Gennes as Italy’s Genoa instead and that seems bigger and better here.

From Barcelona from Genoa and Venice,
From the tempestuous Sicily to Monaco they unite,
Against the Barbarian class they direct their gaze,
Satisfyingly the Barbar falls back all the way to Tunis.

IX 43

Lyon Benoist Rigaud

Proche â descendre l’armee Crucigere
Sera guettee par les Ismaëlites
De tous cottez batus par nef Rauiere,
Prompt assaillis de dix galeres eslites.

Translation 2:
Close to disembarking the Crusader army,
Will be reconnoitred by the Ishmaelites,
On all flanks boats of the ship Rauier/Ravier,
Prompt assaults from ten elite galleys.

Line 2. According to all three Abrahamic religions, Ishmael was Abraham’s first-born son. Ishmael appears in both the Tanakh and the Qur’an. The Bible records the Ishmaelites as the descendants of Ishmael. There is no way of knowing if these Ishmaelites are extant today but if they are then they are Arabs.

For Translation 1 and some different takes see the Nostradamus Quatrains VIIII (IX) 43 and III 1 WAR BOATS and IX 100 FIRE AT SEA

IX 55

L’horrible guerre qu’en l’Occident s’appreste,
L’an ensuiuant viendra la pestilence
Si fort horrible qne ieune, vieux ne beste,
Sang, feu, Mercure, Mars, Iupiter en France.

The horrific war which gathers/which is prepared for militarily in the West,
A year after that will come pestilence
Of such gruesome strength it does not (spare) the young nor the old nor the beast,
Blood and fire, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter in France.

A nuclear WWIII is now viable for the elite of the elite and also their necessary followers, guards and minions as deep underground cities have been prepared with interconnecting tunnel ways and vast stores. The rest of mankind must suffer surface destruction.

In 2016-17 the cognizant witness will have have recognized an attempt – seeming to come from somewhere within the hidden executive structure of the US – to fire a war between America and Russia with Ukraine as the tinderbox. This war would threaten a nuclear destruction spreading around the globe like a fierce tsunami wave. The new administration of the USA plus a growing awareness among the people seems to have put that monstrosity on the back-burner. A Middle East-based replacement madness may have been averted recently by Russia.

When we group and summarize worldly actions only two generalized headings remain. Love and Fear. Under intense critical analysis, all else seems to stem from them. The culpable warmongers – loving the benefits of an evil life and worried about the advancing public exposure of their true nature, terrified of each other and the devil-figure lurking with menace behind all their creepings – are ready sociopaths who will happily see everybody rot if it would only spare their personal self from destruction (or if they must die they will take the maximum number of innocents along with them).

The all-ebncompassing pestilence of Line 2 follows upon preparation for a most horrible war but Line 1 does not say that this war comes, only that it is prepared for.

Switching emphasis to the impoverished hermit state of North Korea and its political posturings has led to the latest ludicrous leak that they have anthrax germs to be transported by an inexplicable supply of ICBM warheads. Anthrax was long-ago weaponized by the United States and as such made a brief appearance in some Washington envelopes, following 9/11. If they fail at nuclear war will the Neo-con/New-nazi maniacs try mass germ warfare against their own people? After all, their declared aim is world government over a massively depleted population.

X 86

Côme vn gryphon viendra le Roy d’Europe
Accompagné de ceux d’Aquilon,
De rouges & blancs conduira grane troppe
Et iront contre le Roy de Babylon.

The King of Europe will come like a gryphon/grifon/griffin
Accompanied by those of Aquilon,
He will lead a great troupe of reds and whites
And shall go against the King of Babylon.

X 95

Dans les Espagnes viêdra Roy tres-puissant,
Par mer & terre subjugant or midy :
Ce mal sera, rabaissant le croissant,
Baisser les aesles à ceux du vendredi.

In the Spanish lands (in the 16th Century that would be the Americas) will come a very powerful King,
Throughout seas and lands as dominant as the Sun at midday:
This wrong will be, discounting the crescent,
Taking those of Friday under his wing.

The First Couplet sounds like Holy Roman Emperor Charles V of Spain who held the Americas and great parts of Europe as units of his empire “upon which the Sun never sets”.

The Second Couplet refers more to a world leader like U.S. President Trump (favouring Saudi Arabia) or Russia’s Vladimir Putin (favouring Iran-Syria).
